Understand your people
Strengthen your team
Recruit with confidence
How can psychometrics help?
Psychometrics can be particularly useful when:
- you’re recruiting for an important role and want to look beyond interview performance
- a key leader or member of staff wants to understand their strengths, working style and impact on others
- a team wants greater insight into how its members communicate, work together and respond under pressure
- you want to identify someone’s development needs and provide focused, practical support
Turning data into insight
The assessment provides the data. My role is to interpret what it means in practice.
I am an accredited Thomas practitioner with 20 years’ experience of coaching leaders. The Thomas Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) gives clear insight into how people work, communicate, and respond under pressure. I interpret each profile in the context of the individual, their role, and the organisation. You receive a clear, tailored analysis – not simply an automated report.
A profile is a starting point for a better conversation, not a label or a verdict.
The assessment is available in 19 languages, with reports in English.
Recruit with confidence
Recruiting for an important role involves more than finding someone with the right experience.
- How will they communicate?
- What pace of work will suit them?
- How might they respond under pressure?
- What will they add to the existing team?
I begin by speaking with those involved in the recruitment to develop an ideal candidate profile. This identifies the behavioural needs of the role and considers how a new appointment might complement the existing team.
Shortlisted candidates then complete a Thomas PPA. For each candidate, I provide:
a tailored analysis of their strengths, motivations, working style and potential pressure points
a comparison with the ideal candidate profile
specific interview questions to explore areas requiring further evidence
The profile does not make the recruitment decision. It gives the panel additional evidence, helps them test their assumptions and enables a better-informed interview and selection process.
I am available for brief follow-up questions after the interviews. Where the panel would benefit from exploring the profiles or interview findings in more depth, a further conversation can be arranged.

to recruit a potential ‘wildcard’ candidate
who is turning out to be top talent.“

For individual development
A Thomas PPA helps a leader or team member understand how they prefer to work, communicate, make decisions and respond under pressure.
Following the short assessment, I provide a tailored report highlighting their strengths, working style, potential pressure points and practical development priorities.
The report can be purchased separately, but most people gain more from combining it with a coaching session. This provides space to unpack the findings, explore what they mean in practice and identify useful next steps. Further coaching can then be added where appropriate.
For small teams
For teams of four to six people, individual profiles can provide valuable insight into how people communicate, make decisions, approach their work and respond under pressure.
I recommend that each person has an individual feedback session first. This gives them space to understand their own profile and do some important personal thinking before entering a shared team conversation. It also helps me understand the team more fully and facilitate that conversation with care.
I then analyse the profiles together, identifying collective strengths, potential gaps and areas where different working styles may create misunderstanding. A facilitated online team session helps the group explore these patterns constructively and agree practical ways of working better together.
If you’d like to explore whether psychometrics could support an individual, a team or a recruitment process,
I’d be happy to talk.
